- My husband and I have been married since 1997. We have two beautiful children who we were blessed to adopt as infants in 2004 and 2006. We both work full time and try to keep the kids from beating on or taunting each other the rest of the time. Isn't that the most important part of any parent's job??? Also, our daughter has sickle-c disease. It has been, and will continue to be, the adventure of our lives.
